  • Can You Run Too Much?

    I sometimes run too much and find I’m fine and having no difficulties moving forward in my running program.  The problem is when you keep on running too much and fall off the path of a program… Suddenly all that you’ve worked for is gone.  You then move backwards! So much for fun!

    Here’s how it happens… You run and run and run. Almost everyday!  Your muscles don’t get that chance to heal between runs, you tend to expect more in a shorter period of work-outs and it’s not always happening, and running becomes something that you didn’t originally do it for.

    FUN!

    It becomes what life is, STRESS!

    If you want to follow a running program, follow a proper running program. A program that starts from the beginning and leads you to your first accomplished mile… and some…

    There are many people who get disappointed, because they get so wrapped up and disruption happens,  injury…

    Me included…

    The story goes on…

    Keep your head up and know what your plan is for the week.  Know what it is that you have to do.

    If you don’t think you’re ready…

    Slow down and take a step back.

    Once you get to a point where you want to run races, 5k-10k, half-marathons, full marathons or ultras, you have to be smart.

    Follow a really good program today!
