Posted on July 8th, 2009 admin No comments

It’s never too late to start jogging!

As a matter of  fact, you could start a program today and get to the root cause of why you are feeling the way you feel today. You could join a 6 week program and bring your body back to balance that is comfortable and healthy. The rewards you gain from learning to jog and staying with it are many.

    Some of the Benefits are:

    • lower heart rate
    • reduced stress
    • preventing coronary heart disease
    • preventing diabetes
    • preventing some cancers
    • reducing body fat
    • increasing muscle tone
    • increasing your happiness and fun

    Jogging and Weight Loss

Have you ever tried working out and dieting at the same time and not achieved the results you wanted to achieve?

By following a good jogging (running) program can put you in the direction of  reaching specific goals  and will motivate  you to sustaining your  goals.  It could be goals of  weight loss,  increased cardio health, improvements in cholesterol levels,  even improvement in hot flashes and PMS symptoms!

    But…

The number one reason most people start running is to lose weight. Losing weight when you run should be  accompanied with a proper diet.  The amount of overweight people in North America alone is astounding when we have such great access to many great healthy foods! The food that we eat is exasperating our weight and health problems. People are obsessed in a low-fat world, yet our world is fat!

    The Greatest Benefit of Running

I believe the greatest benefit of jogging for beginners is instantly the reduction in stress. If you start a program that walks you gently to a jog and then eventually to a run, you will notice  changes in your emotions and mental capacity. You will have found that stress has fallen off. Or you will find that when you have had a stressful day that jogging is just the piece of greatness in your life to take the stress off! After jogging you are able to think clearer which will enhance your well-being!

Please join me in a program for jogging for beginners! Here is a…

    little sneak preview of

Planning to Get Across That River

“If you think of it like a fast moving river and that you just got to get across because your life depends on it.”

Your first week of 6 weeks is going to feel like that. You are just starting out and trying to get in there.

    • The first week your going to plan a time and place for your days or your run/walk so that by the second week…You will know what you are doing, because you have planned.
    • If your still not ready to start yet use this week to plan and keep walking by making your plan and practice it with a daily 45 minute walk.
    • Pay special attention to what you are doing for tomorrow.
    • Do stretches before about 5 to 10 minutes
    • walk for a nice 10 minutes/pick up your pace to a jog for only a minute then go back down to a walk.—-Continue doing this for a half hour and then walk casually for 15 more minutes.
    • Total workout is 45 minutes.
    • Go home and do stretches 5 to 10 minutes.
    • Remember when you are hurting - walk.
