Make Your Own Energy at Home

Living in the country surrounded by woods makes it more sustainable for us to be able to live this way.
What way?
We heat our home by burning wood and have a good efficient system. Where people are using modern ways to heat their homes, we use wood (biomass) in a large wood furnace to heat our home and hot water. Propane, oil, natural gas and electricity are all OK choices, but from an expense and environmental perspective we are happy with what we chose. With natural gas and oil prices going through the roof people are looking for cheaper or more sustainable choices. And…Hoping that they are Eco friendly choices. Having a huge interest in all these factors I researched some other choices of energy production for my home.
Renewable Energy More Efficient For Homes
Renewable Energy…What is that anyway?
Naturally Replenished Energy…Energy that is derived from a natural source such as:
Sunlight - Solar Power
Wind - Wind Power
Water- Hydroelectricity and Ocean Powered
Geothermal heating - Energy generated from heat stored underground in the earth.
Biomass - Recently dead matter (wood burning, corn, hay etc. )
I really believe to save carbon emissions and cut personal costs more people should be looking into renewable energy for their homes! A large consumption of our carbon emissions come from our own homes. You would think this would be an excellent place to start.
Finally I found information that does just that…I’ m really excited because I discovered better ways to save both the money and the earth!
